COREXIT Technology

COREXIT dispersants and shoreline cleaners effectively protect the environment by degrading a wide range of crude oil and petroleum products.

COREXIT oil spill dispersants are listed on the Environmental Protection Agency National Contingency Plan Product Schedule. The result of 20+ years of research, these dispersants are formulated to maximize response effectiveness to various oil types and spill conditions while decreasing the impact the application has on the environment.

The building blocks for these products are used in many other consumer products including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and household cleaners.

COREXIT Oil Spill Dispersants

COREXIT ECA dispersant is a highly concentrated, bio-degradable formulation with a unique “self-mix” property that historically has offered maximum versatility in dispersing oil slicks on seawater.

COREXIT ECA and ECB contains the same well-proven surfactants present in COREXIT ECA, plus an improved oleophilic solvent delivery system.

This system enhances the penetration of the surfactants, making this product particularly well-suited for dispersion of heavy oils including weathered, waxy and emulsified oils. As described in the ExxonMobil Dispersant Guidelines, COREXIT dispersants are effective in a variety of real world conditions on a wide range of oils.

COREXIT Shoreline Cleaners

NES LLC offers a technology designed specifically for shoreline protection and cleaning.

It removes a wide range of crude oil and petroleum products from contaminated shoreline surfaces, including certain vegetation. For freshwater or seawater shoreline oil cleaning, we recommend COREXIT ECA, the biodegradable surface washing agent for oil spills on rocky shores, bay shores, lakeshores, marshes, rivers and inlets.

Disclaimer: COREXIT is on the U.S.

Environmental Protection Agency&#;s NCP Product Schedule. This listing does NOT mean that EPA approves, recommends, licenses, certifies, or authorizes the use of COREXIT on an oil discharge. This listing means only that data have been submitted to EPA as required by Subpart J of the National Contingency Plan, 40 CFR Section
